About this blog
Multidisciplinary policy design teams are changing how public policy is made. They help policymakers to deliver meaningful change for citizens by bringing together experts to work in new ways.
This blog is for anyone who is interested in how policymaking is being modernised.
It is written by the multidisciplinary policy design community from across the UK’s government. We want to share stories about what we are working on now, how we work, and what future policymaking might look like.
Our community is growing all the time and we already work with over 40 local and central government organisations including: Department for Education, Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Justice, Home Office, HM Revenue & Customs, Department for Transport, Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government, Department for Environment, Fishing & Rural Affairs, Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, Government Digital Service, NHSX, local government, Policy Lab and the cross-government directorate for policymaking transformation.
The blog is curated by Andrew Knight - get in touch if you would like to write for us at policy.design@policyprofession.gov.uk
